A doggie vacation!!

Some of you might know that I also photograph dog agility competitions and that I compete obsessively with my own dogs in a doggie sport called agility. Once a year, the obsessive competitors meet in Scottsdale, AZ for the Nationals. A thousand of best of the best dogs from the US and other countries around the world come to Scottsdale to compete and watch each other run. All trying to go for the gold. Think of it as the dog olympics!

So here I am, photographing and competing with my own dog, basically having a blast and bonding big time with my dog on my own doggie vacation. Sounds weird doesn't it? Heh. We will be here until Nov 5th, during this time, I will try to answer my emails as much as I can but please understand if there are delays. Meanwhile, wish us luck!!

If you're around Scotsdale, come down and see us at Westworld for a week long doggie fest! I'll try to post a couple pics from it just for fun!

Rachel & Jared

Rachel and Jared wanted something a little different and fun for their engagements, so we went to Chrissy Fields and the Presidio to do their little session! They are such a sweet and fun couple and Rachel is so pretty. I have a few quick teasers while I am still editing their session but I can't wait to do their wedding in December.

Sam & Justin

Boo! If your favorite holiday is Halloween, wouldn't you have a Halloween themed wedding? Absolutely! Sam and Justin did just that for their sunset wedding and what a visually fun wedding for me to photograph! Sam walked down her Jack O' lantern lined aisle to the music from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" in her tea length custom designed black and orange dress.

I love the bright colors of this wedding and all the little details the creative bride put together in her decor for the guests' eyes to feast on. And how fun, for their guests to come attend their event dressed up in costumes!

Here are a few teasers of the details from the wedding for you to enjoy while I continue to have fun editing this wedding! Meanwhile, check out Sam's fun black wedding shoes!

What a cute little flower girl and the special necklaces Sam had for her flowegirls.

I love her ceremony decor, the site was on a hill and decorated with faux headstones with witty remarks on them. The aisle was decorated with Jack O' lanterns and Halloween themed luminaries.

The awesome J+S Jack O' lanterns made especially for the event. And check out the yellow "Do Not Cross" tape used as part of the aisle decor.

The beautiful colors of the flowergirl dress!

The MOST PERFECT altar ever! A coffin complete with a minister in purple! Fun!

Creative little details for the party decor.

The perfect favor for this themed wedding, a colorful candy buffet!!

What Halloween themed wedding would be complete without your very own breakdancing gorrila?!

All's fun and games until the gorilla man scares little Miss Wednesday Adams.

Justin enjoying a cigar with the boys.

A sweet one from their first dance.

A special message from Sam + Justin for you.

Toni & Andy

Toni and Andy had a beautiful ceremony in Pema Osel Ling admist the gorgeous trees. It was such a beautiful, serene and peaceful setting to have the perfect ceremony surrounded by loving friends and family. I really love heartfelt, intimate ceremonies! Toni had even had her dog as the ringbearer and hey, I'm partial to dogs!

The very adorable ring bearer.

Don't you just love "Love Sweet Love" sign Toni made? She even made the table name mosaics herself!

I love these escort cranes!

The beautiful ceremony site.

From their first dance.

And their back up dancers!

To see more of this beautiful wedding, check out their wedding slideshow.

And stay tuned for their day after newlywed session!
